We are having a fundraising garage sale. we are looking for donations of any kind of things to sell.

there is a family of 5 in painesville ohio who has had a devastating bat infestation. the removal of the bats and their guano destroyed the interior of their home.they have been bouncing from hotels and familys houses trying to get the house fixed for over a year now. they are close to being finished but the financial burden has become just too much for them. the insurance denied their claim, there are no organizations that can assit them (believe me weve tried). they are 22 and 24 years old, married, with 3 kids-5,3,(<boys)and 5 months(<girl). at first they paid for what they could out of pocket then they turned to credit cards (which they have no problem giving them but the banks will not give them a loan) now paying the credit card payments, the house payments, living expenses, ect. has stopped them in their tracks when it comes to repairs. they are so close to being finished, yet so far.





we have sat down and figured that to finish the house they will need approx 8 thousand dollars, so to do what we can for our community we are having a fundraising garage sale ALL PROCEEDS to go to family.





at this time we are looking for donations, whether it be clothes or shoes toys or funiture, books or anything else you have layin around that you dont want and / or dont need. even things such as home made jewelry or crafts!

they are also accepting donatins of materials for building, such as 2x4's, nails, drywall, insulation, and anything else that may come in handy when you are basically building a house :)





the garage sale will be the weekend after fathers day so between now and then, please, clean out your attics, garages, and basements and see what you dont need because your "trash" is someone elses treasure, and in this case someones savior!

we will be accepting donations thru tuesday night the 17th of june.

basically what we are asking of people is to pass this along (or the word along) to one person (at least) and make that person promise to pass it along to one person and so on and so forth, and its not just for donations, let them know when, so they can come too.

also we have been in contact with the news herald.


i am not exactly sure what they are going to do but i know they said they will put somehting in their newspaper for free whether it ba an article or just an add in the classified section, it makes me happy! so keep your eyes open
