Darksiders Wrath of War Video Game Lets You Be the War

So, let me tell you how I did my way through the Darksiders Wrath of War.

Halo 3 on Xbox 360, a final chapter of global award-winning action series, was expected by the players worldwide with excitements and fear, as Halo 2 success raised the bar so high it sometimes seemed too hard to extend. Fortunately now, as Master Chief has returned to finish the fight, I can certainly say that Microsoft Xbox 360 Halo 3 edition has kept all the best from the Halo 2 and improved it in terms of the story, the tactics, co-op mode possibilities and graphics.

The very beginning of the Darksiders video game seemed quite usual and even though I did want to feel myself the War (I mean the Red Horseman Apocalypse named War), I started doubting there really was anything special to expect of the Darksiders game. What could I expect when in the prologue I saw myself an enormously powerful Horseman crashing all around, tearing terrible beasts apart and confidently rushing through enemies. ‘Well…’- I thought,’ Darksiders is just one more thoughtless shooter’. So now you can imagine how huge was my surprise, when the next moment of the Darksiders video game I found myself (I mean the War) powerless in front of some kind of a court accused of initiating discord between Heaven and Hell.

So, there the War was; and I had to start from the very beginning. I heard some people say this turnaround has discouraged them, but I guess this is actually one of the greatest things about the Darksiders video game, as now I knew where my character had once been and where he could get. Of course it really did take some time, I’d even say, a bit too much time, to get in the Darksiders game, gaining experience and getting weapons and powers back, but it appeared rather rewarding as the game was getting better and better each minute.

Oh! And all that new and new hellish and heaven creatures, who came on my way eager to leave with my head were also getting better, as Darksiders video game makers did some good job in making them different and expressively looking. When they were finally killed a neat blue soul appeared. By the way, don’t you forget to gather these ‘souls’! The thing is that I didn’t at once realized that and had to start all the Darksiders game over as in the Darksiders, they are kind of money that then can be used to buy weapons and abilities. Actually I really got into weapon customization and I should tell you that unlike in many others, in the Darksiders video game it appeared one of the places, where it’s better to take your time and think twice, as well-chosen blade enhancements get really handy. Though even the best customized blades are not the reason not to pick up all the stuff that falls to your legs even if it seems useless, you will need it in a second.

Of course, as we (War and I) were getting stronger and faster, Darksiders video game brought stronger enemies harder to kill and puzzles got harder to solve, so I did have to do so some thinking. At some point it seemed that task were too difficult for my level, and seemed I’d never get through the Darksiders game if War didn’t start running faster. But seems some adventurous hunting games can improve your focus and concentration, so, then we found a horse, well, the steed, Ruin, and there was my War, in all the power and ready to tear and level everything around.

All in all, Darksiders Wrath of War is a bright example of a saying that appetite comes with eating, and having played through, I do advice you to go for it. And don’t forget that if you still don’t have the game, you can place your order for it at Pikaba and get it at a way better price. Enjoy!
