It was recently when HCL had released three Android ICS tablets, but here comes another from Micromax, a tablet called Funbook to be launched in India.
Its computing chip is fine having a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 plus it works with a Dual Mail 400, a 2D/3D graphics processor. This then makes the multimedia experience for tablet users better.
The slate spans at 7 inches with a lower 800 x 480-pixel resolution displays. For memory capacity, it has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
On the bright side, the Funbook can connect both through Wi-Fi and 3G functionalities. It has a USB port and HDMI output, too. Also, this tablet is compatible with the data card called Tata photon EVDO and powered by a 2800 mAh battery which can last approximately 5 hours of use.
The students are the targeted market of Funbook; hence it is filled with apps focused on e-learning and pre-loaded softwares including Documents on the Go, Adobe PDF and Text Editor as well. Several publishers like Pearson and Scholarclub already partnered with Micromax regarding this and more advanced apps will be available soon.
