Toshiba is known for releasing usual tablets sized at 10 and 7 inches diagonally. However this time, the tech company has decided to launch a distinct slate type having a sheer size of 13 inches that would stand out in the tablet crowd.
The device is named as the Toshiba Excite 13 tablet sporting a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels High Definition plus panel display. It is fully-powered by Tegra 3 quad-core CPU with 32 GB or 64 GB of internal capacity storage, yet expandable via a built-in microSD card slot.
You could also experience the 5 MP at rear and 2 MP at front integrated cameras and micro USB slot as well. It weighs about 2.2 lbs and measures at 0.4-inch in thinness. The device runs on latest Google platform, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. The Toshiba Excite 13 tablet will start selling in June 10th this year for a price tag of around 629 US Dollars.
