Preview: MEIZU Announces The First Exynos-Powered Quad-Core Smartphone

 

Meizu, a Chinese manufacturer has finally announced the new Meizu MX quad-core smartphone which the company is claiming to be the world’s first smartphone based on the quad-core Exynos A9 processor. According to reports, the handset will utilizes the new 32 nm technology used to build the quad-core Exynos A9 processor which means a faster chip with low power consumption.

 

The Meizu MX is expected to have 292ppi of screen resolution which place it below that of the iPhone 4/4S and the Galaxy Nexus but the display should still provide great visuals. The Meizu MX will also boast an 8-Megapixel BSI camera with an f/2.2 lens that will allow great low-light captures.

 

The handset will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out of the package and will be available in colorful options including black, white, light blue, light green, pink and violet. Meizu has plans to launch the new Meizu MX smartphone in China only, this June.
