In addition to the HTC One X and One S from the newly launched One Series, HTC also launched the HTC One V which comes as the low-end version from the One series of smartphones. The One V comes equipped with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a 480×800 pixel resolution, the smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage and a microSDHC card slot.
The handset gets a 5-megapixel camera on the rear with flash, autofocus and 720p HD video recording but lacks a front-facing camera. The One V is also equipped with a few sensors which includes an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor as well.
Other features of the low-end Android smartphone includes Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a compass, GPS support and runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with HTC Sense UI out the box. The HTC One V was announced in February but no release date has been revealed for the device as yet.
