FAMILY IN NEED OF CHRISTMAS HELP!
Would you have any "gently used" items that teenage boys might like? My oldest son (age 16) is pretty hard on clothes and shoes since his primary focus in life is skateboarding. He also enjoys playing his guitar and watching stand-up comedy DVD's ... I love to hear him laugh.
My younger son(age 12) enjoys video games (PS 2 & Nintendo DS) and also computer games, but his computer is out-dated, runs slow and can't handle some of the graphics. Do you possibly have a used computer that is more current than Windows 98 or any used video games?
We are modest people, we don't need the latest and greatest nor do we require "new" items. I just want to give my children something for Christmas. Where we stand now is not great...it looks like electricity is all I will be able to afford for a gift (and kids don't appreciate that).
I've always been a fiercly independent person, proud of my accomplishments and of my once-good credit. Then I got sick and over the course of four years, I've lost everything that I've worked for my entire adult life. To ask for help is quite humiliating but I can't bear the thought of not being able to give my children a Christmas. If you have any gently-used items that my children might like, they would be greatly appreciated.
Clothing Sizes Are As Follows:
16-Year Old: Pants 36/30, Shirts XL, Shoes Size 11
12-Year Old: Pants 14 & 16/Husky; Shirts Boys XL or Men's
Small, Shoes Size 6
Miscellaneous Items: Earbud headphones, AA batteries, gloves, anything skateboard related, Books (oldest likes suspense, thriller novels such as John Grisham novels or similar, youngest likes fantasy, science fiction)
