About a month ago, a rather large group of friends decided to move from
california to chicago with loose plans to meet new people, make art,
cook great food, ride bicycles, and dance around.
We moved into a small cement cube of warehouse space, and have since
relied on kindhearted craigslist friends and abandoned furniture to
create our new home. It has been grand! especially during winter &
without a vehicle.
unfortunately, we have had particular trouble locating a wickedly cheap
(or ideally free) refrigerator. With only a few dollars collectively,
we need those dollars to rent a truck to transport our dream fridge.
perhaps, we could build or sew or bake you something in exchange?
Does anybody have a refrigerator that might fit our description
(i.e. free/cheap, close to Chicago West Side/East Garfield Park,
working...)? We would be so grateful!
