My name is Billie Martan, and I am on this site asking for help. I am a 58 year old man, and it does not make me feel very proud being on here asking for a helping hand. I am trying to gather enough money so I can move out of the house with my mother-in-law, and I have no where else to turn. My wife and I are both disabled and cannot work, but yet the Gov. is taking their own sweet time helping us. I have had two operations on my neck and cannot work, and we have no money coming in what-so-ever. We do draw food stamps so we can at least eat, but if it were not for my mother-in-law we would not even have a roof over our heads. My mother-in-law is on a fixed income herself, and with my wife and I staying here with her it is putting an extra burden on her that she does not need. I have tried to gain employment, but when people find out about my neck operations and the medial restrictions my doctor has placed on me they turn me down. I have tried all of the agencies I can think if to get help, but due to the fact that we do not have any children they say that there is nothing they can do to help us.
I am not on here asking for a hand-out, I am only asking for a helping hand. I know that these are hard times for everyone, but I keep praying that someone out there will find it in their heart to help us in some manner. As we all know there are plenty of people out there trying to run scams, but if there is someone out there who is willing to help me then I will send them my address so they can come visit and can see for themselves that I am a real live person in need of a heping hand. Please search your hearts and see if there is any way possible for you to lend me a helping hand.
