im a single mom of an infant & a toddler and we have been homeless
since the first week of september. i have gone to the local county
office to get aid for homelessness and referrals to local shelters. my
problem is that every shelter i have reached out to is either full or
has a waiting list for more than 4 weeks. for the time being until my
name is reached on one of the waiting lists we have absolutely nowhere
to stay. my county assistance benefits have been helping with hotels
and in between we have been sleeping in the car. i need to make sure my
babies are somewhere safe and warm for the time being. can
anyone plz lead me to a shelter nearby that has openings or somewhere
that i can get some temporary hotel vouchers or donations for a temp hotel. i am at a desperate point
right now. any info or help would be greatly appreciated. thank you so
much for even taking the time to read.
